Looking back I noticed that I posted this about 2 years ago. A record of the first single issue comic books that I ever bought. Well let me update you on my life...
I now work in the comic book shop that I bought those comics. I know read...a lot of ongoing series. And a lot of graphic novels. My life has totally changed and it is the best thing ever.
So here is a list of some of my favorite current ongoing series.
- Hawkeye. This comic, man. It is just everything I want in a superhero comic. Down to earth. Action packed. Great art. Great dialog. Emotion and story. I love it.
- Saga. Because, well, it's Saga. Brian K. Vaughn and Fionna Staples are geniuses. I don't care what you think about comics. You will like this. I haven't met anyone who doesn't.
- Trillium. This one is only 1 issue in and I am so in awe of it. It is gorgeous. Both the story and the art. Jeff Lemire, you are fabulous.
