Busy me!

I have been a busy busy girl this week and I haven't felt like I have had much to blog about. I keep meaning to post pretty pictures of pretty cupcakes but I keep having other things I need to get done. Hopefully I'll get to that tomorrow before I have to get off to work (which is where I am right now.)

I have been drawing a lot this week. I have a sketchbook that I need to fill up by the fifth and its only 3/4 full. And I have been working on a Paddington bear charcoal drawing.

It's a blurry phone picture, but you can see it mostly. I really hate charcoal. I am not sure why, but I do. This, however, is kinda fun. He isn't done at all. His legs are missing and the bottom left of his coat and he definitely needs some darker darks and maybe some lighter lights. I like lots of contrast. It is fun though.

I actually found out that I have perfect scores on all of my drawing assignments and perfect attendence (don't ask me how that happened, I know I've missed at least one class.) which according to my teacher has not happened in awhile. This, of course, has me wondering why the heck I am not in art school, but I know the answer that God has plans for me in this beautiful world of business that I still love very much. It doesn't help that I was at CCS with Angelo today and wow, that place is just full of inspiration. I want to draw, draw, and draw some more right now. My creativity is bursting and I was only there for an hour! I wish I could have gone to school there. Oh well, I will still be an artist no matter what I am studying or what school I go to. I sure can't waste the talent God gave me.

oh, yes, I should admit that I haven't walked at all the past two days...I really need to start that back up, but probably not until next Monday. I really need to get some shoes other than my chucks. They really are not working.

Well I will have some pretty cupcakes for you tomorrow and an outrageously delicious cake for you on sunday. Be very, very excited! (I sure am!)
