Illustration: The Hunger Games' Katniss

I recently read the series called The Hunger Games. They blew me away. As soon as I finished the third and final book flipped back to book one on my nook and began the series all over again. I don't know why, but the character of Katniss really struck me as a great character. I have always loved strong female leads though.

And so I decided to do this drawing of Katniss I wasn't sure what I was going to do with her. All I really knew was that I wanted to impress Angelo. I am a silly girl like that. I ended up spending at least 20 hours on this project though and really love it.

I am pretty happy with it.
